How to Plan‍ ‍your‍ ‍ceremony‍ ‍songs

If you need a jumpstart choosing aisle walk music, use the template below as inspiration! Once you have a good idea of your ceremony flow, collaborate with me, and together we’ll find the perfect music for your big day.

-Kasie

  • Prelude

20-30 minutes of beautiful music while your guests are being seated and waiting for the wedding to start. This set list will be curated from Kasie’s repertoire and based off of all your favorite artists and genres to fit your theme.

  • Processional

This portion of your ceremony includes everyone in your wedding party before the bride and can be 1-3 songs depending on how many people are walking! Consider your grandparents and parents, groom, groomsmen and officiant, bridesmaids, ring bearers and flower girls, etc… With live music paving the way for flexibility you can truly make your processional your own!

  • ‍ ‍Bride’s entrance

Most bride entrances are 30 seconds or less, but boy is it important! This selection can be a continuation of your processional music or an entirely new piece of music. You can choose to blend Canon in D into your favorite worship song, or hear portions from your favorite TV show. Whatever you decide on will be perfectly YOU.

  • Unity ceremony

Not every couple chooses candles or knot tying to signify their new union, but if your ceremony has this feature included, consider a sentimental, meditative song to play in the background while a prayer is prayed, or sand is poured.

  • Recessional

After you’ve kissed the bride and been pronounced husband and wife, it’s time for your recessional music! (If you’ve been looking for an opportunity to get silly during your ceremony, the recessional is the spot!)t. Choose a song that’s upbeat and fun as you and your wedding party walk back up the aisle and head off to take photos.
